is a little shop and a friendly bar/tabac Le
Stemi.The creamery in Massais
is the last of its kind in the region, a privately owned
farmers cooperative using local milk to produce butter and cream.
The
Bois Jolie hotel/ restaurant in
Massais offers an excellent value for money 4 course lunch
time plat de jour (moules are their speciallity) and an equally
good- value evening menu.

A 30 mins walk through sunflower
fields to the tree lined gorge where the river Argenton quietly
flows offers swimming, paddling, fishing, rock climbing, mountain
biking and riverside walks or another 15 mins will take you
to the Parc de la Vallee

fun fair rides, water chutes and bouncy castles.
Ideal for the younger children because the rides are of the
more traditional, old fashioned gentler type.
